Abstract

Abstract Copolymers of vinyl chloride and 2-hydroxypropyl acrylate consisting of a copolymer with from 60 to 95% by weight of vinyl chloride monomer units and from 5 to 40% by weight of 2hydroxypropyl acrylate monomer units, having a K-value of from 20 to 60 measured in cyclohexanone, as well as the method of producing the same by continuous addition of the monomer mix to an aqueous emulsion.
