Abstract
Abstract Sound waves, either sonic or ultrasonic, produced by the scoring of glass in a cutting operation, are detected and correlated to the quality of the cut. Pressure on the scoring tool and scoring speed may be controlled in accordance with the detected sound level. Quality of anneal may also be correlated to the sound level.
