Abstract
Abstract Blood agglutination testing apparatus including container slides with a plurality of separate compartments, each compartment for receiving a blood sample and reagents. A movably mounted support receives the slides and is coupled to a drive system for simultaneously producing movement in a plurality of directions to mix the blood samples and reagents. The drive system includes both a rotational drive system and a reciprocating drive system. The slides are preferably light transmissive and a light under the slides provides illumination for detecting agglutination and a heater in the support selectively heats the cavities.
