Abstract

Abstract Test strips are provided for detecting even small amounts of blood or other peroxidatively active substances in body fluids; the strips comprising a carrier containing a hydroperoxide, at least one chromogen and, as a stabilizer, at least one phosphoric or phosphonic acid amide of the formula WHEREIN R1 is a dimethylamino, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkyl, aryl or Nmorpholine radical; and R2 and R3, which may be the same or different, are dimethylamino or N-morpholine radicals.
