Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim 92 words
A radiation detector comprising thin film orthogonal thermocouple means forming dipoles and operative in response to an unbounded electric field to produce currents commensurate with the intensity thereof, said orthogonal thermocouple means comprising orthogonal elements disposed substantially within a plane, elongated means projecting orthogonally from said plaNe for introducing said thermocouple means into the near-field region of said electric field, substantially all conductive elements in said elongated means being aligned with the major axis thereof and orthogonal to said plane, and resistive leads interconnecting said orthogonal thermocouple means and said elongated means.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 92 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 21 words
A radiation detector as defined in claim 1, wherein said orthogonal elements within said plane are resistive films of dissimilar metals.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 28 words
A radiation detector as defined in claim 2, wherein said resistive films are mounted upon a substantially nonconductive substrate and sandwiched between said substrate and another non-conductive plate.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 48 words
A radiation detector as defined in claim 2, comprising spacing means of predetermined length and having free space characteristics, located on the opposite side of said plane from said elongated means, and adapted to separate said plane from the source of said electric field by said predetermined length.
