Abstract
Abstract Plastic substrates, such as ABS, are prepared for electroless metal plating by treatment of the surface at a temperature of about 100* to about 175*F. with an activating solution prepared by admixing a glycol ether and an acid stannous chloridepalladium hydrosol. In the hydrosol, catalyst metal particles of colloidal or semicolloidal nature are present.
