Abstract
Abstract Method for aiding formation of bone forming material in the region of a bone structure of a living being. Two electrodes are applied to spaced areas on opposite sides of the region of the bone structure. An alternating electric potential difference is applied across the electrodes. This potential difference has a frequency below 100 c/s and a magnitude such that it produces a current density of at most 10 Mu A/mm2 at the electrode surfaces in physical contact with the areas.
