Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 8
Claim 1
Independent Claim 115 words
A fastener tool comprising a tubular housing; a sleeve member having one end telescoped into one end of the tubular housing said sleeve member having its other end internally configured to receive and hold a holding member head of a fastener; means preventing movement of the sleeve member within the housing; a socket rotatably positioned within the housing and the sleeve member, said socket having a bolt head receiving and holding end extending into the sleeve member and a handle receiving end projecting from said sleeve member and said housing and means biasing said socket out of the end of the sleeve member; and means preventing said socket from being biased out of the housing.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 115 words
A fastener tool comprising a tubular housing; a sleeve member having one end telescoped into one end of the tubular housing said sleeve member having its other end internally configured to receive and hold a holding member head of a fastener; means preventing movement of the sleeve member within the housing; a socket rotatably positioned within the housing and the sleeve member, said socket having a bolt head receiving and holding end extending into the sleeve member and a handle receiving end projecting from said sleeve member and said housing and means biasing said socket out of the end of the sleeve member; and means preventing said socket from being biased out of the housing.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 31 words
A fastener tool as in claim 1, further including an outer cover surrounding the housing wall and secured to the wall whereby immobilization of said outer cover will immobilize the housing.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 21 words
A fastener tool as in claim 2, wherein the outer cover is of resilient, non-slip material closely fitted onto the housing.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 60 words
A fastener tool as in claim 2, wherein the means preventing movement of the sleeve member within the housing comprises at least one recess in the wall of the sleeve member and a set screw threaded through the wall of the housing and extending into each recess, eAch said set screw being held in the housing by the other cover.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 23 words
A fastener tool as in claim 4, further including a bushing between the socket and the housing and in which the socket moves.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 40 words
A fastener tool as in claim 5, wherein the means biasing the socket comprises a coil spring surrounding a portion of the socket and having one end engaging the bushing and the other end engaging a flange on the socket.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 89 words
A fastener tool as in claim 6, wherein the means preventing the socket from being biased out of the housing comprises an end plate extending into the housing at the end adjacent to the handle receiving end of the socket, overlying a portion of the socket, and having an opening therethrough providing access to the handle receiving end, and at least one set screw threaded through the wall of the housing and extending into the end plate, each said set screw being held in place by said outer cover.
