Abstract
Abstract Novel methods for imparting to polymeric products such as artificial flowers, fruits, vegetables, trees and shrubs, their characteristic fragrance or odor are described. Products that emit a natural-like and readily detectable pleasant fragrance, of long duration, are prepared by the application to the manufactured article of a polyolefin or copolymer emulsion containing a variety of essential components. The entire processing is accomplished at ambient or slightly elevated temperatures.
