Abstract
Abstract A machine for dispensing banknotes of a plurality of different denomination comprising means for storing a corresponding plurality of stacks of banknotes, each such stack containing banknotes of a single denomination, means for selectively removing individual banknotes from each such stack, means for transporting the banknotes so removed to a dispensation station, means for sensing the passage of each banknote through the transportation means, means for selecting the value of money to be dispensed in each denomination, and means for causing the dispensation from each stack of the number of notes equivalent to the value selected in the corresponding denomination.
