Abstract
Abstract A method of blow molding an article having an insert permanently affixed thereto. The insert is placed on a mounting fixture between complementary mold sections. An extruded parison is fed around the insert and the mold sections are colsed about the parison for enclosing a portion of the same. Opposed lands on the mold sections compress a portion of the enclosed parison against the insert and separate the enclosed parison into two hollow sections. Air is introduced into the two hollow sections to expand the same into conformity with the cavity defined by the mold sections.
