Abstract THE DISCLOSURE HEREIN DESCRIBES A MOISTURE-TIGHT HANDKERCHIEF CONSISTING OF A FIRST LAYER OF SOFT ABSORBENT TISSUE MATERIAL, SUCH AS PAPER OR CLOTH, AND OF A SECOND LAYER OF IMPERMEABLE FLEXIBLE MATERIAL, PREFERABLY A THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL, SUCH AS POLYETHYLENE OR POLYVINYLCHLORIDE; BOTH LAYERS ARE BONDED TOGETHER AND, IN ONE EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION THE LAYERS ARE THEN FOLDED TO FORM AN IMPERMEABLE MOISTURE-CONTAINING POCKET.
