Abstract
Abstract This invention is concerned with displays of characteristics which are intrinsic properties of subterranean formations. They include acoustic velocity, acoustic attenuation, Poisson''s ratio, acoustic impedance, elasticity (bulk modulus), density, velocity and attenuation of shear waves, etc. The intrinsic properties themselves are typically obtained and processed from the seismic data provided by conventional or modified seismic CDP or other observations.
