Abstract
Abstract Gases, e.g., oxygen, are advantageously absorbed by or removed from aqueous liquids, especially blood, by passage along a partial pressure gradient through a waterproof, porous membrane having pores with an apparent diameter of 0.01 to 3 Mu and a critical surface tension of less than 40 dynes/cm. at 20* C.
