Abstract ORIENTED THERMOPLASTIC FILMS ARE PRODUCED BY STRETCHING A FILM OF A THERMOPLASTIC POLYMER TO WHICH HAS BEEN ADDED AT LEAST ONE OTHER THERMOPLASTIC POLYMER HAVING A DIFFERENT CRYSTALLINE MELTING POINT. AN ORIENTED THERMOPLASTIC FILM HAVING AN OPALESCENT EFFECT IS ACHIEVED.
