Abstract
Abstract New and improved method for minimizing the effects of pulsations which occur during the operation of intermittent pumping systems is provided and, as disclosed, is applied to a peristaltic pump which is utilized in a fluid sample supply, treatment and analysis system and comprises the minimization of the effects of the pulsation which occurs each time a pump roller occludes the compressible pump tube, and the minimization of the effects of the pulsation which occurs each time a pump roller discontinues the occlusion of the compressible pump tube.
