Abstract
Abstract The siloxane linkages present in salts of the compound (bis(trialkyl siloxy)-alkyl-2-(trialkyl ammonio)-alkyl silane)are rearranged in water to form quaternary ammonium salts of cyclic siloxane polymers useful as cationic surfactants, bactericides, and anticariogenic agents.
