Abstract
Abstract The discharge of separated components from centrifugal drum separators is controlled so that only a given component issues from its given outlet, despite changes in the proportions of the separated components. The centrifugal pressure in the drum is detected, to determine the position of the interface and to make appropriate outlet adjustments, or else a float that moves with the interface makes the needed outlet adjustments.
