Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim 84 words
The composition according to claim 1 wherein from about 75 to about 85 weight percent of the copolymer based on the total weight of the blend is employed, the visbroken copolymer has a melt flow of from about 50 to about 100, and from about 15 to about 25 weight percent of said homopolymer is employed based on the total weight of the blend, said homopolymer having a density in grams per cubic centimeter at 20* C. of from about 0.91 to about 0.93.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 59 words
The composition according to claim 1 wherein said copolymer is visbroken by being thermally cracked by heating the copolymer at a temperature in the range of from about 600* to about 900* F. for a time sufficient to raise the melt flow of said copolymer from less than 40 into the range of from about 40 to about 110.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 28 words
The composition according to claim 1 wherein said homopolymer has a melt index as determined by ASTM D 1238-62T, Condition E of from about 2 to about 10.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 17 words
An article comprising a substrate and a coating thereon, said coating comprising the blend of claim 1.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 13 words
The article according to claim 5 wherein said substrate comprises a paper product.
