Abstract THE SILVER CHLORIDE LAYER OF A SILVER-SILVER CHLORIDE ELECTRODE IS COATED WITH A THIN PROTECTIVE LAYER OF METHACRYLATE. THE LAYER OF METHACRYLATE ACTS TO PREVENT CORROSION OF THE SLIVER CHLORIDE LAYER AND YET ALLOWS SAME TO REATAIN ITS ION SENSITIVITY.
