Abstract
Abstract A permanent coupling fitting for fluid systems in which the conduits sustain high-pressure and structural loads. The fitting is formed with an exterior shape of predetermined configuration and a standard internal shape to receive standard shaped parts or tubing. Swaging means is applied to compress the exterior shape of the fitting inwardly so that the exterior becomes substantially cylindrical and the interior assumes the exterior configuration so as to force the tubing to conform and establish leak resistant and structural strength characteristics.
