Abstract A DIRECT CURRENT POTENTIAL IS ESTABLISHED BETWEEN ELECTRODES INSERTED INTO AN AQUEOUS SUSPENSION OF FINELY DIVIDED PROTEIN FIBRILS TO DEPOSIT AND FIBRILS ON THE SURFACE OF AN ELECTRODE TO OBTAIN A SHAPED PRODUCT. WHEN THE RESULTING PRODUCT IS TUBULAR, IT HAS UTILITY, FOR EXAMPLE, AS A CASING FOR FOODSTUFFS.
