Abstract PROCESS FOR INTERPOLYMERIZATION OF MALEIC ANHYDRIDE WITH ALKYL VINYL ETHERS IN THE PRESENCE OF AN ANTI-CLUMPING AGENT COMPRISING COPOLYMERS OF MALEIC ANHYDRIDE WITH HIGHER ALKYL VINYL ETHERS IN HIGH SOLIDS CONTENT WHEREBY THE INTERPOLYMER IS RECOVERED AS A FREE-FLOWING POWDER AFTER EVAPORATION OF THE SOLVENT AND IN WHICH THE ANTICLUMPING AGENT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE LOWER ALKYL VINYL ETHER MALEIC ANHYDRIDE COPOLYMER AT SUBSTANTIALLY PH7 AND ABOVE EVEN AT THE BOILING POINT OF THE SOLUTION.
