Abstract

Abstract Translated from Russian 2 з.п. The invention relates to a measurement technique and can be used to control the surface roughness during metalworking. The purpose of the invention is to expand the information content and increase the accuracy of measurement due to the possibility of measuring not only ultra-smooth surfaces, but also in the case of a rough surface, by determining the ratio of the attenuation coefficients of the mirror component to the reference surface, respectively, providing the minimum errors introduced by the diffusion component, as well as eliminating the influence of the optical properties of the material on the measurement results by equalizing the total diffraction intensities spectra and the reference controlled surfaces and mid-height quadratic microroughness determined by the formula. Further, the intensity values of the diffraction spatial-frequency spectrum are additionally corrected according to the backlight intensity values. To eliminate the effect of differences in the reflection coefficients of the reference and controlled surfaces, which arise due to the differences in the optical properties of the materials from which these surfaces are made, the total intensities of the diffraction spectra of the test and reference surfaces are aligned. 2 hp ff, 2 ill.
