Elastic coupling
Abstract
Abstract Translated from Russian 4 ил. i (Л Фие.1 The invention relates to mechanical engineering and is intended to connect shafts mounted with a deviation from alignment. The aim of the invention is to increase reliability by stabilizing torsional rigidity during operation. The clutch contains coupling halves 1 and 2 with a pair of cams 3 and an intermediate elastic element 4 in the form of a rubber sprocket. The cams 3 are made in the form of staples from a material with a shape memory effect. When the rotation of the coupling half 1 and 2 is transmitted, the element (asterisk) 4 heats up, softens and reduces the torsional rigidity of the coupling in contact with the element (asterisk) 4, the cams 3 warm up, gradually changing their shape to the maximum width. At the same time, the rays of the element (asterisk) 4 are compressed to compensate for the decrease in stiffness. Thus, a constant torsional stiffness is maintained in the clutch. 4 il. i (l fie.1
