Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify an initialization processing, by providing a parity control part, prohibiting a parity function by an initialzation signal, and canceling the prohibition of the parity function after the operation of initialization. CONSTITUTION:When an initialization detecting part 5 in which a fractionating function is excluded from an initialization detecting and fractionating part, receives an external initialization signal, an initialization instruction is sent to a control part 1, and a parity control part 4. The parity control part 4 prohibits the parity function of a memory part 3 to a saving area, and suppresses a parity fault. The control part 1 initializes memory part 3 (except the saving area), and the parity control part 4 (no change in a parity function prohibiting state), and after initializing them, it reads the saving area, and transfers a bit of saving information to an input/output part. After completing the presevation of the bit of saving information, the control part 1 sends out a parity function permitting indication to the parity control part 4. The parity control part 4 cancels the prohibition of the parity function of the memory part 3 to the saving area, and quality at the time of accessing to the saving area in an ordinary ordinary available state, can be improved.
