Soft elastomer composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a flexible polyurethane elastomer composition remarkably improved in mechanical properties, by mixing a specified polyolefin polyol with a polyisocyanate compound and an inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:This flexible elastomer composition is formed from a polyolefin polyol (a) obtained by hydrogenating at least 90% of the double bonds of polyhydroxypolybutadiene having at least 70% 1,2-bonds, a polyisocyanate compound (b) and 5-300pts.wt., per 100pts.wt. in total of (a) and (b), inorganic filler. It has a surface hardness (as specified in JIS K-6301) <=90A. In order to control the hardness and to improve the workability, it is preferable to add 10-300pts.wt., per 100pts.wt. in total of (a) and (b), plasticizer to said elastomer composition.
