Optical lens

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive optical lens which is a small-sized and light weight single lens and does not require special polishing by forming an aspherical plastic lens for correcting spherical aberration on one surface of a glass lens. CONSTITUTION:The optical lens having a relatively short focal length is realized by the small-sized and light weight lens; for example, the aspherical lens 2 consisting of plastic is formed on the plane side of a planoconvex lens 1 made of optical glass in tight contact therewith or the lens 2 is formed on one convex face of a biconvex lens 3 made of optical glass in tight contact therewith. Then the optical lens having the relatively short focal length is inexpensively provided as the small-sized and light weight single lens, since no special polishing is required. There is the effect of obtaining the accuracy of the transmission wave of about twice that of the conventional aspherical lens consisting of the plastic alone.
