Fiberscope device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to observe a subject in an opaque solution by jetting fluid into the opaque solution to form temporally a transparent visual field and irradiating light to the temporal transparent visual field to detect a picture in the field. CONSTITUTION:In a fiberscope 10 for a medical use, a signal transmission cable 11 is inserted into a pipe 12. The cable 11 is constituted of a picture transmission member 20 arranged on the center and a peripheral optical transmission member 21 and converted with a coating member 22. The members 20, 21 are obtained by binding plural glass fibers. When the fiberscope 10 is inserted into a required position such as a blood vessel and then CO2 gas is jetted from the leading end of the fiber-scope 10, a transparent visual field is formed in the front part of the fiberscope 10. Light is irradiated from the member 21 to the transparent visual field in the front of the fiberscope 10, a picture is transmitted to a video camera 18 by the member 20 and the output of the camera 18 is stored in a picture storage unit.
