Sampler for vital tissue
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make a titled sampler simpler in construction and easier in operation by advancing a cutting blade having a sharp top end in the axial line direction of a round blade and incising and sampling a specimen. CONSTITUTION:The top end of the round blade 1 is pressed to a desired point while said blade is rotated by a holding body 2. As the body 2 rotates, the blade 1 rotates to cut circularly into the tissue down to a desired depth. A fine belt- like blade 5 advances and is guided to the notched part of the blade 1 when the operator presses a lever 13 to advance a gliding bar 8 toward an arrow A direction. Since the side edge of the blade 5 is formed as a cutting edge, the part corresponding to the base of the circular cylindrical part cut by the blade 1 is cut off by the curved cutting edge of the blade 5. The blade 5 is a curved elastic body and does not require separate provision of the path for guiding the blade 5 and therefore the construction is simplified.
