Vinyl chloride resin composition and molded article using the same

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To composition, obtained by incorporating a specific vinyl chloride copolymer with microballoons and polyvinyl acetate, and capable of holding well the microballoons without exposing the surface nor falling off and exhibiting effectively the weight reduction and delustering. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride copolymer, consisting of 97.0-99.95wt% vinyl chloride and 3.0-0.05wt% polyethylene glycol diacrylate or polyethylene glycol dimethacrylate having 2-50 polymerization units of ethylene glycol, and having 600-3,000 average polymerization degree with (B) 5-100pts.wt. microballoons having 0.15-0.8 specific gravity, 5-300mu particle diameter and >=70kg/cm<2> compressive strength, (C) 1- 20pts.wt. polyvinyl chloride having 100-1,500 average polymerization degree and (D) 3-150pts.wt. plasticizer. The resultant composition is used to cover a core material and form skin layers on the inner and outer layers of a coating layer. Thus, a steering wheel is obtained.
