Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make a stable sampling possible, by obtaining a signal synchronized with a sampling pulse only when a DC regenerated signal is in the range between two reference voltages which have an approximately equal absolute value and are different in polarity, and integrating this obtained signal to apply AGC to it. CONSTITUTION:An AGC circuit 3 is connected to an equalizing circuit 2, and the output of the AGC circuit 3 is applied to a sampling circuit 6 through a DC regenerating circuit 4 and a waveform shaping circuit 5. The AGC circuit 3 is subjectd to AGC by an output (b) of a controlling circuit 8. An output A of the DC regenerating circuit 4, an output B of the waveform shaping circuit 5, and an output C of a timing circuit 10 are inputted to the controlling circuit 8, and the controlling circuit 8 outputs a signal synchronized with a smapling pulse only when the DC regenerated signal is in the range +Vr--Vr, and this outputted signal is integrated to obtain the AGC signal (b).
