Acceleration and deceleration controller for numeric control machine or the like

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To stabilize a system by preventing a sudden change in acceleration by dividing the frequency of a clock for generating feed pulses of a clock pulse generator by feed data and by generating and outputting the feed pulses utilized for acceleration and deceleration control. CONSTITUTION:For ecceleration to an optional speed, a lateral time axis for the unit time of speed update is compressed uniformly in accordance with the target speed through the operation of a read-only memory 2 and a variable frequency divider 3, and the frequency of a clock phi1 for feed pulse generation is divided by a variable frequency divider 7 in accordance with feed speed data outputted from an adding-subtrating counter 11 for a feed speed, thereby compressing a longitudinal speed value uniformly. The frequency shift of feed pulses FPA is determined by data stored in read-only memories 2, 13 and 14.
