Adhesive for hard tissue of human body

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To provide the tltle adhesive which has a good affinity with enamel and dentin and is effective in dental treatment, containing a pyrophosphate ester derivative and/or a polymer obtd. therefrom. CONSTITUTION: The titled adhesive contains a pyrophosphate ester derivative having a polymerizable functional group and a group of formulaI[e.g. a compd. of formula II or III wherein R 1 is alkenyl, hydroxy- or halogen-substd. alkyl having a (meth)acryloyloxy group, aryl; R 2 is alkoxy- or halogen-substed. alkyl, aryl; such as the compd. of formula IV] and/or a polymer obtd. by polymerizing said compd. as a monomer component.
