Amorphous alloy

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To provide an amorphous ferromagnetic alloy whose wear resistance is excellent and whose magnetic permeability and saturated flux density are high and stable, by prescribing each content of the Fe-Cr-Si-B (or/and C) alloy. CONSTITUTION: 70% or less of the B of an alloy, whose composition formula is Fe x Cr y Si z B w where 0.04≤y≤0.08, 0.06≤z≤0.18, 0.2≤z+w≤0.26 and x=1- y-z-w, is substituted with C to produce a desired alloy whose composition formula is Fe x Cr y Si z B w C v where 0.04≤y≤0.08, 0.06≤z≤0.18, 0.2≤z+w+v≤0.26, 0< v≤0.7(w+v) and x=1-y-z-w-v. Although the magnetic properties of the present alloy are not good at the time of its sample production, the magnetic permeability of the alloy can be enhanced by performing heat treatment in a non-crystallization range at 350W500°C for 5min to 2hr.
