Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:Polyvinyl chloride is combined with a specific acrylate and the mixture is irradiated with ionizing radiation, thus producing crosslinked material that is readily miscible and processable as well as has high aging and oil resistance. CONSTITUTION:To (A) 100pts.wt. of polyvinyl chloride, preferably of 400- 5,000 average polymerization degree, are added (B) 2-50, preferably 5-20 parts of symmetric ethylene oxide acrylate of the formula (X is H, 1-4C alkyl; n is integral number of 1-10) and then, the mixture is irradiated with ionizing irradiation as electron rays.
