Curable resin composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. excellent in the processability, reactivity, weatherability, and chemical resistance and free from the influence of moisture by compounding a specific graft polymer contg. a primary amino group with a specific dialkyl oxalate. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. is prepd. by compounding: a graft polymer which contains a primary amino group and is obtd. by hydrolyzing ketimine parts of a copolymer of a polymerizable unsatd. monomer of formula I with a monomer copolymerizable therewith; with a dialkyl oxalate of formula II. In the formulas, R1 is H or 1-2C alkyl; R2 and R3 are each 1-4C alkyl; (n) is 0-2; and R4 is 1-8C alkyl. The compsn. is used in a wide variety of applications such as coating material, adhesive, surface-treating agent, molded article, and foamed resin.
