Manufacture of hand rail

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture and application as well as reduce a cost by providing an upper end of an intervening member to an upper rail provided at a portion where a hand rail is to be placed and providing the lower end of the intervening member to a lower rail provided below the upper rail in parallel to it. CONSTITUTION:An engaging member 2 is engaged with a cut 1b for supporting an upper rail 1 provided at a portion where a hand rail is to be placed so that the member 2 can be swung along a lengthwise direction of the upper rail 1. Then upper ends of intervening members 3, 3 are attached to a mounting material 4 screwed on the engaging part 2 with a screw 4b. Then the lower ends of the intervening members 3, 3 are attached to a lower rail 5 provided immediately below the upper rail 1 in parallel to and with an appropriate dis tance from it via an attaching aiding material 6 and a fitting material 8 with a screw 7. This procedure is repeated to constitute the hand rail. Thus the hand rail can be manufactured without using welding or other special working methods.
