Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make an action of tooth brushing easy so as to reduce the degree of fatigue by attaching a handle to one end of a brush part at right angle so that the brushing can be performed in parallel to the teeth with only up and down movement of hand. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 3 is rotatably supported at the upper part of a handle 1, and one side of the shaft 3 forms a quadrangular pyramid type taper along its top direction. A brush 2 is detachably inserted/fixed by one action to the taper part of the shaft 3 and a knob 4, with which the direction of the brush can be changed, is attached to the other end of the shaft 3. And, the handle 1 and the shaft 3 are connected together at respective ends through rectangular grooves with which both can engage each other. The knob 4 is pressed, rotated and released at an optional angle so as to change the direction of the brush, then the knob is replaced to a position, through an enclosed spring 5, where the rectangular grooves engages with each other to keep the condition. Meanwhile, only a brush part may be replaced according to wear of the brush. In this way, good health condition of men can be secured by making the action of tooth brushing easy.
