Attachment, bite holder and fixture being applied to tapered end face of bite and particularly having tapered shunk of no.7/24 cone
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To particularly and reliably install a No. 7/24 conical taper shank on a main spindle by assembling a front part having an inserting taper and a flange to the main spindle through a slider, and pressing the taper to a locking position in the main spindle by an elastic device. CONSTITUTION: A pressure adjusting means 7 is screwed in a hole 10 of a taper 1 inserted into a main spindle 2 of an installing device, and an elastic device 6 is inserted, and next, a front part 3 having a flange 4 is inserted through packing 16 and a cylindrical pin 19 in a groove 17. Next, a slider 5 is inserted from the rear end of the taper 1 by interposing packing 24 and 26, and is screwed in a screw groove 23, and a screw 20 is locked and assembled in a groove 18. Therefore, a push of the flange 4 against the main spindle 2 and a pressure push of the taper 1 are reliably performed, and stress from the main spindle 2 can be transmitted in a work process.
