Abstract 899,618. Toothbrushes. PEYRON, A. F. R. Feb. 17, 1960 [Feb. 18, 1959; May 13, 1959; July 2, 1959], No. 5651/60. Class 19. Within the handle of a toothbrush a vibration generator is so mounted that vibrations are transmitted from the generator through the handle to the head of the brush which is integral with the handle. The generator is either an eccentric mass 1 that is rotated by a mains or battery-feed electric motor 3 or an air-driven rotor; or an electromagnetic vibrator. Numerous other preferred forms of the toothbrush to the one shown are also described.
