Abstract An adhesive surgical dressing comprises a pad of sponge material, of rubber, latex or synthetic resin, mounted on a backing of cloth or elastic tape, the backing having adhesive borders extending around the pad. The pad may carry a lining of medicated or unmedicated gauze, lint or cotton wool.
