Abstract
Abstract 690,823. Tweezers. NICHOLAS, H. G. July 25, 1951 [May 2, 1950], No. 10785/50. Class 61 (ii). Tweezers are provided with detachable needle-like jaws 4 made of harder metal than the limbs and having opposed flat gripping surfaces. The shanks of the jaws are a tight press fit in bores provided in the reduced lower ends 2 of the limbs 1. The jaws shown are circular in cross section the flat gripping surfaces 5 being formed by grinding. Jaws having half round, square or triangular cross section may be provided.
