[Class 99(ii)] A hose pipe comprises a lining 12 of soft rubber, a covering 16 of braided wire and an intermediate layer 14 of a thermoplastic vinyl material such as polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl chloride, or polyethylene, or of a thermoplastic polyamide such as nylon. A final covering 18 of rubber or fabric may be applied.
