Abstract
Abstract 574,849. Thermometers. DREW, M. J. Oct. 27, 1943, No. 17745. [Class 97 (iii)] A clinical thermometer case is provided with a lens front whereby the liquid column and the scale of the thermometer contained in the case may be more easily read. As shown the pocket case 1 for a clinical thermometer is furnished with a slot within which a cylindrical lens 2 is fitted and preferably held in place by clips 6, 7. If desired the whole case including the lens front may be moulded of transparent material such as acrylic resin. The case 1 is provided with a cap 3 and a groove 4 for the thermometer.
