Abstract 553,640. Liquid-steam indicators. SULLINGS, A. GOULD-. Nov. 27, 1941, No. 15311. [Class 97 (ii)] The flow of oil or other liquid is indicated by the position of a rod 20 loosely fitting in a guide tube 13 forming the liquid inlet to a glass chamber 14 having a lateral outlet 12. A ball 21 may be loose on or attached to the rod, or may be used alone if a good fit in the glass. Two or more superposed balls may be used.
