Abstract 544,740. Coating with metals. EXPANDED RUBBER CO., Ltd., and COOPER, A. Sept. 23, 1940, No. 14457. [Class 82 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXI, VI, XVIII, XXVIII and XXIX] Bouyant articles such as floats are formed from closed-cell expanded rubber, ebonite, or synthetic resin to which is applied a thin impervious metal coating by electro-deposition or spraying. According to the Provisional Specification the bouyant article may be formed from other cellular materials such as coik.
