Improvements in or relating to devices for the selective remote control of independent mechanisms
Abstract
Abstract 509,866. Electric control systems; valve generating circuits. SOC. ANON. FIMI. June 24, 1938, No. 18832. Convention date, July 21, 1937. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (i)] [Also in Group XL] In a system employing trains of impulses of modulated carrier current to effect remote control of a number of apparatus, the transmitter comprises an oscillating valve in which modulation is effected by the use of a grid resistance of sufficiently high value, a commutator allowing the selection from a number of resistances to give different modulation frequencies. 'The trains of impulses may be generated under the control of a switch in the anode circuit of the valve. At the receiver, after demodulation, the signals are filtered and each frequency affects its corresponding relay or servomotor.
