Improvements in or relating to methods of receiving images transmitted from a mobile station
Abstract
Abstract 477,355. Television receivers. BAIRD TELEVISION, Ltd., JONES, V., and LANCE, T. M. C. June 26, 1936, No. 17773. [Class 40 (iii)] Any of the series of images recorded on a film 5 may be continuously viewed. The length of film between the recording 3 and viewing apparatus 8 is made variable by passing over weighted rollers 12. The direction of travel through the projecting apparatus 8 may be reversed. When a monitoring apparatus 2 shows an image which it is desired to inspect, a punch 10 is operated to punch a hole in the film, which is stopped in the projector in the known manner. Less images than usual are transmitted per second, and a shutter in the projector reduces flicker.
