[Class 106 (i)] A machine for keeping accounts as described in Specification 360,842 is modified by dividing some or all of the add and subtract totalizers into two adding totalizers so that the increase and decrease in the various business transactions may be registered separately. Totalizers for the balance and turn-over are also provided. In the form shown in Figs. 1 and 2, sets of keys 1-8 and x1-x8 are provided for setting mechanism to control the selection and engagement of the totalizers with the differential actuating mechanism. The division of the add and subtract totalizers into two adding totalizers is effected by displacing axially or radially one of the sets of wheels ; the wheels are displaced axially as at R+ and R-, Fig. 2. The keyboard has a number of control keys T+ , T-, S-, S+ , &c., which are employed in the operation of transmitting the amounts introduced into the totalizers into an add and subtract totalizer to obtain the balance of any of the transactions. The machine is provided with three printing mechanisms TA, TB, and TC.
